How do I Close an Incident?

In order to close a record, you need to be assigned to a user profile that allows you to close incidents. Most user profiles allow a user to add and edit incidents, but not close them

If you have the ability to close an incident, you'll see the "Close" button at the top of the form:

Click the "Close" button to begin closing the form. If all of the form's required information has been filled out, you will be asked to confirm if you would like to close the form:

Click the "Yes" button to close the form. The form will close and no longer display the "Close" button. If you have the ability to reopen incidents, it will display the "Reopen" button instead:

If the incident contains other forms, the "Incident Investigation Form" being one such form, you will need to close each of those forms out separately as well:

Once all required information has been entered on each form, and each form has been closed, the "Incidents Module Summary Screen" will reflect the incident's report status as "Complete" and "Closed":
